The Penn State DuBois Delta Mu Sigma Honor Society has announced award winners for the 2020-21 academic year, with recognition of the 82nd annual Honors Convocation Awards. Though current social distancing requirements have caused the official awards ceremony to be canceled, students, faculty and, staff still wish to recognize those chosen to receive awards.
Penn State DuBois recently partnered with the Clearfield-Jefferson Drug and Alcohol Commission, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation, State Farm Insurance, DuBois Area High School, and the Pennsylvania State Police to bring the community a virtual program on underage drinking, and steps that can be taken to prevent problems resulting from this issue.
Penn State DuBois baseball had their hands full with Penn State Greater Allegheny this weekend. After splitting with them on the road in a doubleheader on Saturday, (3-1, DuBois and 4-2 Greater Allegheny) DuBois came back home on Sunday to host them in another doubleheader, sweeping both contests 3-2, each.
Penn State DuBois students recently came together to assemble care kits for women who are victims of domestic or sexual violence. The kits were donated to PASSAGES Inc., a victim advocacy group serving Clarion, Clearfield and Jefferson Counties.
Penn State DuBois baseball played host to Penn State Greater Allegheny on Tuesday night at Showers Field for a single game PSUAC West Divisional matchup. DuBois came into the game in second place in the West, with Greater Allegheny hot on their heels in third place. DuBois would end with the win, 14-4.
The Center for Sexual and Gender Diversity, in collaboration with partners around Penn State, will be celebrating Pride Month throughout April with a variety of programming for the University community across the University's campuses.

The Penn State DuBois for THON team surpassed their fundraising goal of $23,000 this year, raising a total of $23,540 for the cause, helping the overall Penn State total of funds raised reach $10,638,078.62 during the virtual event.
